Management Plan Volume Lead/Writer (Remote)

Location: Gaithersburg, MarylandJob Type: ContractCompensation Range: $75 - 80 per hourWe are seeking an experienced Management Volume Lead/Writer for a federal contract with our government contracting client. This critical role involves developing a comprehensive management plan focused on three key areas: evaluating individuals for a government watchlist, ensuring the accuracy of watchlist data, and supporting efforts to identify and address potential threats. Lead the development of the management volume for the Operational Support proposal.

Write and refine a management approach and plan aligned with the program's goals and federal guidelines.

Collaborate with subject matter experts, proposal team members, and stakeholders to gather relevant input.

Ensure all documentation is compliant with solicitation requirements and clearly communicates the program's management strategy.

Provide analytical support, including process optimization and operational alignment, as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience in leading and writing management plans, preferably in support of federal contracts.

Familiarity with operational support for government agencies, ideally within national security or law enforcement contexts.

Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a virtual team environment with minimal supervision.

Flexibility to travel occasionally to Reston, VA as required.

Work Environment: This position is 100% virtual, allowing flexibility in work location.

Travel: Occasional travel to Reston, VA for meetings or events. Travel expenses will be covered.
