Job Description

Working both independently and within a multi-task team environment, performing and/or assisting in preventative maintenance routine filter changes. This position demands flexibility, and a positive, cooperative work attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• General housekeeping of all mechanical rooms within the building

• Assist with Tenant service requests for light bulb replacement and minor plumbing requests with the GMMs

• Assist with preventative maintenance routines on building equipment and washroom deficiencies with the GMMs

• Other duties as assigned by manager

QUALIFICATIONS

SERVICE / PERSONAL SKILLS:

Service oriented with excellent communication skills. Must be self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and in a team while learning from others. Must have a positive attitude and present a professional image.

EXPERIENCE & TECHINCAL SKILLS:

• General building maintenance experience an asset

• Preference will be given to individuals with hand/power tool experience

• Knowledge of HVAC system maintenance an asset.

EDUCATION/DESIGNATIONS/LICENSES:

• Minimum Grade 12 education

• Technical Maintenance courses an asset

• Enrolment in the Building Environmental Systems program (BES I & II) an asset
