    Monday - Friday 8AM - 4:30PM

    Minimum Qualifications

    MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN II:

    • High School Diploma or GED

    • 3 years of experience maintaining industrial equipment, automation or product repair

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience reading and working from blueprints and interpreting advances drawings and schematics

    • Demonstrated knowledge in OSHA, Arc Flash, LOTO and NEC

    Diagnostics and Repair

    • Support and service of production lines within the facility

    • Mechanical, electrical and PLC troubleshooting and repair

    • Perform preventative and predictive maintenance of production line equipment

    • Seasonal external facility maintenance

    • Waste management and simple routine facility maintenance

    • Small engine repair

    • Reading and interpreting blue prints, drawings and building schematics

    • Miscellaneous facility maintenance as needed

    • Reading and interpreting blue prints, drawings and building schematics

    • Replacement of broken or outdated building mechanicals, lighting or bathroom fixtures

    Clerical

    • Email and phone conversations with vendors

    • Ordering parts and materials

    • Maintenance of 5S program

    • Maintaining compliance with training programsMaintenance and system entry of PM's and work orders

    • Other duties as assigned

    Responsibilities

    Ability to effectively communicate across departments

    Ability to identify problems and implement solutions

    Ability to work from drawings, sketches and blueprints

    Initiative to learn how to assist, diagnose and repair equipment

    Ability to acquire and maintain certifications for operation of service equipment

    Knowledge of basic PC functions including using Outlook, Excel and Word

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls and talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to walk, stoop, crouch, bend and reach above shoulders. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance, waist high, up to 10 feet away. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. Temperatures can vary from cool to very warm depending on season. The employee must comply with the assigned location PPE requirements including but not limited to safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing and shields for required tasks and closed toed or safety shoes as required by facility safety policies

    Physical Demands : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
