Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Boulder, CO
Pay rate: $32/hr
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, routine inspections, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the facility. This role involves working under defined procedures and close supervision while delivering high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems.
Perform routine maintenance inspections, identify potential issues, and execute timely repairs.
Assist in the installation, modification, and upgrades of building equipment and systems.
Review and manage assigned work orders using available systems to ensure timely completion.
Ensure building systems operate efficiently to support energy management goals.
Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Use established procedures to resolve straightforward problems and communicate solutions effectively.
Contribute to team success by following defined duties, methods, and processes.
Deliver assigned tasks in a timely manner, adhering to outlined processes and under direct guidance.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 3-5 years of relevant job experience. A combination of experience and education may also be considered.
Physically capable of meeting the role's requirements, including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting/carrying loads of 50 lbs. or more.
Proficiency in adhering to basic work routines and standards.
Universal EPA license (preferred).
Experience in manufacturing, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), or life sciences environments (preferred).
Strong communication skills for exchanging straightforward information.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or BAS (Building Automation Systems) (preferred).
Demonstrated organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset to improve processes and systems.
