Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician for openings on the 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will work with our team to determine the best fit, but flexibility is necessary. The role supports all production and facility equipment during normal operations, performs preventive maintenance, and ensures the facility is in top condition.
Responsibilities
Perform assigned repair and preventive maintenance activities.
Routinely inspect and maintain building and installed systems, including manufacturing machinery, plumbing systems, roof, drains, shop, and grounds.
Perform minor and routine repairs including painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, PLCs, and other related maintenance activities.
Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment systems.
Create and maintain up-to-date service and replacement data files for building equipment and machinery.
Communicate the need for major repairs or additions to equipment to the appropriate manager.
Respond promptly to facility maintenance issues and recommend upgrades or cost-saving opportunities.
Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions.
Inspect new installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Maintain a high level of competency and efficiency in all aspects of maintenance operations.
Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Ensure all activities are conducted safely and within safety guidelines/procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Essential Skills
Maintenance technician experience
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, blueprint reading, PLC troubleshooting, 3-phase electrical systems, and conveyor systems
Experience with motors, maintenance, manufacturing, troubleshooting, maintenance repair, preventive maintenance, electrical maintenance, mechanical and industrial manufacturing
Strong analytical skills
Experience with PLC control, industrial schematics, installation, and industrial maintenance
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
3-5 years related experience or equivalent
Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, PLCs, carpentry, and industrial maintenance
Ability to work at heights and in inclement weather
Understanding of all safety requirements and cautions
Proficiency in reading, speaking, writing, and understanding English
Machining experience (Mill, Lathe, Drill Press)
Welding experience
Motor and electrical/PLC troubleshooting
Bearing installation and troubleshooting
Pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting
Mechanical component experience with gears, pulleys, belts, pumps, and lubrication

Work Environment
This is a manufacturing environment which can be hot in the summer and cool in the winter. Weekend work is expected to cover shifts when production is ongoing and for maintenance repairs/projects that cannot be completed during production. Availability for on-call schedules and to cover other shifts during scheduled or non-scheduled absences of team members is required.

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $49920.00
