A global chemical supplier manufacturing company is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their growing team on 1 st Shift . This is a great opportunity to work with a team that takes pride in providing cost-effective and responsive service to their clients!

Pay: $22/hr-$24/hr

Schedule: M-F 7am-3:30pm

Type of Job: Temp to Hire

Location: Fort Mill, SC

Essential Functions

• Perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.

• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make adjustments.

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities.

• Perform basic electrical installations, removal, and troubleshooting.

• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

• Be able to wear required PPE including but not limited to respirator, protective gloves, footwear, suits, hearing protection, head protection, eye, and face protection.

Required Education and Experience

• High school diploma or GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship

• 2+ years of industrial or manufacturing experience with basic troubleshooting skills

• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, HVAC, basic electrical work, or relevant industrial maintenance experience.
