We are seeking a(an) Maintenance Tech for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. Did you get into our industry for these reasons? Responsible for the general maintenance of the facility and grounds, including aspects of equipment safety and security issues as defined in the organization’s Environment of Care Plans.

What qualifications you will need:

· High School or equivalent preferred

· Trade School/Certification preferred

· Three years of commercial or industrial experience in maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. One year or more practical experience in an accredited hospital engineering department

· Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 100 pounds· Ability to read, write and communicate in English required

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital. Offering a full range of services. We are home to the most experienced Heart Institute on the Treasure Coast. Lawnwood Hospital provides interventional and therapeutic care, including open-heart surgery. Other hospital services include labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency services, and diagnostic services. We also offer inpatient, and outpatient surgical services.
