Maintenance Supervisor

(On-site) Monday-Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm (OT as needed)

As a Maintenance Supervisor at our new (Premix) Animal Nutrition and Health Tonganoxie, KS location , you will be responsible for purchasing, ordering parts (e.g., PM's breakdowns, repairs, rebuilding, etc.) to optimize plant equipment and support the production of finished products. You will also perform specialized predictive and preventive maintenance equipment inspections; trouble shoots, plans, installs and/or modifies plant equipment and related systems in Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety / regulatory requirements, and accordance with Key Performance measure, Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety / regulatory requirements, and divisional goals.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years' experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment. This person will also have start-up experience as well as automation engineering and robotics and will align with our SHE and Quality values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fully responsible for the maintenance program, spare parts management, working to stay within maintenance budget and supervises additional maintenance employees. Previous experience in related roles (including maintenance program coordination and carrying out hands on maintenance work in a manufacturing or industrial environment) is required. Previous experience in people management is an asset.

• Responsible for maintaining Fiix maintenance program management and upkeep in conjunction with the Plant Manager.

• Assist and coach crafts to conduct maintenance in an effective manner.

• Identify improvement opportunities and provide input regarding scheduling/review/analysis of do segment of the Manufex work process.

• Conduct a variety of maintenance activities (e.g., preventative/corrective to optimize plant equipment).

• Perform specialized predictive and preventative equipment inspections.

• Troubleshoot plans and install and/or modify plant equipment with related systems.

• Balance scheduling of emergency repairs with preventative maintenance tasks. Also, communication and follow through of tasks on a daily basis ensuring completion.

You Bring:

• High school graduate, or equivalent. Certification from a technical school a plus.

• Proven 6-8 years' skilled Mechanical/Electrical maintenance related or equivalent.

• Robotics experience

• Good math, oral/written communication skills and social skills.

• Good time management, statistical process control and troubleshooting skills.

• Knowledge of production processes and specific requirements.

• Ability to prioritize and follow through on completion of projects.

• Understanding of Equipment Reliability and Maintenance.
