    What will you be doing?

    Essential Functions

    As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will operate and maintain all building equipment and systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems owned by the client, including, but not limited to air handling units, air distribution equipment, controls, lighting, lighting control systems and general plumbing repairs

    Respond to trouble ticket/work order requests in a speedy fashion with positive attitude

    Compose concise, clear email communication regarding current status of on-going projects and inform JLL team members when appropriate

    Perform general repairs, maintenance and replacement of mechanical components including, but not limited to: plumbing and electrical/lighting

    Maintain records, operation logs and files where appropriate, to include, preventative maintenance logs, tasks, parts inventory, operating procedures, Methods of Procedures documentation (MOPs) inspection logs etc.

    Inspect all facilities on continuous basis, identify discrepancies, generate work requests, manage related vendors as appropriate, recommend future repair & maintenance projects and track life cycle of equipment

    Work with engineering team toward the success of the property

    Supports JLL and clients EHS culture

    Performs detailed site inspections and manages the outcomes

    Support JLL's Operational Compliance Program

    Performs all PM's. RM's within the work order management system

    Promote a safe working environment

    Develop and maintain positive relationships with client

    Coordinate scheduling of work with vendors and client schedules, when required

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements include

    • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution

    • Two or more years' experience in commercial HVAC or related field

    • Strong mechanical aptitude

    • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to professionally respond to tenant requests

    Working Environment

    Must be a team player committed to working in a quality environment. Will require daily interaction with teams in person, on

    the phone, or via email to perform the job

    • Warehouse environment

    Essential Physical Abilities

    • Lift up to 50 lbs.

    • Walks up and down stairs for inspections

    • Perform site inspections

    • Cleaning inspections require getting on hands and knees to inspect inaccessible areas

    • Ability to work weekends and extended hours

    • Climb ladders to adjust airflow and make inspections above ceiling, when required

    • Ability to operate a scissor lift at a height of 40 Feet
