Maintenance Controller

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Controller, working in the Maintenance Control Centre. In this role, you will oversee aircraft operations using computer systems, troubleshoot issues, and make critical decisions regarding aircraft repairs and flight operations. You will manage operations in accordance with the MCM manual, provide technical dispatch for crews, advise on journey log entries, and handle projects through Work Packs. This position requires a profound knowledge of line maintenance for a fleet predominantly composed of 737 MAX and NG. You will be part of a team that ensures the safety and efficiency of our fleet, which currently includes 22 aircraft with an additional 6-8 aircraft expected by November.

Requirements

• M2 AME license with minimum 5 years experience

• 737 MAX or NG endorsements or Classic's endorsements

• 5 years of Line Maintenance Experience

• Ability to obtain a RAIC

• Technology and Computer proficiency, including CTS program, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams

Soft Skills

• Cool, calm, and collected personality

• High attention to detail

• Ability to make tough decisions under pressure

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Calgary, Alberta.

Work Environment

The position is based in Calgary, requiring local candidates or those willing to relocate. You will work alongside a crew of 7 other Maintenance Controllers in a 24/7 operational environment with shift patterns of 6pm - 6am and 6am - 6pm, rotating every month, on a 5,5,4 schedule. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of $50-$56 hourly
