Job Description:
The Paint, Print, Pack Machine Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing sealing, paint, and printing equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work with team members to understand/troubleshoot equipment
Repair and replace worn and broken components
Make minor adjustments to equipment to maximize output (with supervison)
Change out RF sealer tooling
Replace Big Red pallets as required
Fill in for other team members as required
Perform other duties as assigned (Preventive Maintenance, cleaning, etc.)
Maintain production pace and standards
Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area
Practice 6S
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Understand and follow verbal and written instructions
Basic math skills
Basic computer skills
Advanced Mechanical skills
Education and Experience Requirements
High School or GED diploma required plus Technical Certification in a Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or related program or equivalent combination of education and experience in maintenance, mechanical, or technical field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, mechanical, or technical field at MT or similar employer preferred.
