Job Title: Machine Operator (3rd Shift)

Job Description

We are seeking three dedicated Machine Operators for the 3rd shift. You will be responsible for operating both semi-automatic and automatic machines, ensuring the quality of parts produced, and packaging finished products. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Tend to semi-automatic and automatic machines.

• Insert material into semi-automatic machines, close the door, and run the machine.

• Perform quick quality checks on parts coming out of the machines.

• Ensure machines are running properly and parts meet quality standards.

• Perform visual quality checks to identify any issues such as excess flash.

• Package parts coming off the machine.

Essential Skills

• Ability to multi-task.

• Attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate effectively if there is an issue with the machine or part.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Manufacturing or machine operating experience is a plus but not required.

• Experience in production, general labor, foodservice, food preparation, or using hand tools.

Work Environment

Work on a clean, organized, and well-lit production floor in the Assembly department. Training will be conducted on the shift you will be working, with the first day orientation from 8:00am-12:00pm. Shift schedules are as follows: Monday-Friday - 1st shift: 7:00am-3:30pm, 2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm, 3rd shift: 11:00pm-7:30am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Torrington, Connecticut.

The pay range for this position is $19.55 - $19.55
