My client in the food manufacturing industry is seeking machine operators to join their team!

Job Description

Their main product is frozen pies, producing these pies for top customers like McDonald's and A&W.

Setup Machine Operator Job Description

• Responsible for setup, changeover, and basic maintenance of production line equipment.

• Performing pre-operational line, sanitation, and safety checks before starting the equipment.

• Performing basic preventative maintenance tasks on line equipment like the dies, rollers, cutters, and supply lines.

• Keeping up with all proper documentation according to GMP and completing weight checks, temperature checks, and product quality inspection periodically.

Will be using tools such as scales, thermometers, calipers, and rulers.

• Making real-time adjustments to equipment as needed when identifying product quality issues.

• Communicating with laborers and the maintenance team to ensure machinery is running smoothly and any major mechanical issues are reported proactively.

• Training basic operators by describing and demonstrating standard tasks and equipment operation.

Work Environment

The company is currently occupying a medium-sized facility with plans of expanding and purchasing a new plant in two years due to their increased growth in production demand.

The facility is very linear instead of a big open space, with not a lot of wasted space and some tight spots.

SHIFT-DAY SHIFT: 5:00am-1:00pm

OT over 40 hours when on contract.

PAY: $20.39 base plus $1 for setup experience = $21.3
