    What You'll Do:

    As an LPN Admissions Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in the admission process, utilizing your nursing expertise to assess, plan, and coordinate the transition of residents into our facility. Your compassionate care will ensure a smooth and comfortable entry for those in need of our services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments for potential residents

    • Collaborate with healthcare teams to review medical histories and care needs

    • Assist in developing individualized care plans for new admissions

    • Coordinate and communicate care plans with residents, families, and healthcare professionals

    • Educate residents and families about facility services, procedures, and care expectations Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements during the admission process

    What You'll Bring:

    Qualifications of an Admissions Nurse include:

    • Valid Maine state LPN/RN nursing license

    • Experience in Long-Term Care setting preferred

    • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care

    • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both

    • Strong clinical skills and critical thinking abilities

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
