The successful candidate can expect growth and career opportunities including being responsible for reviewing drawings and vendor equipment documentation, as well as contributing to diverse project teams.
Principle Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare / complete the Project Logistics Plan
Provide shipping cost estimates for inclusion in the Project Capital Expenditure Plan
Provide inputs and supporting documents for the Project Bankable Feasibility Study
Provide inputs and supporting documents for the Project Execution Plan
Responsible for all project logistics activities including coordination with project expeditors, suppliers and site construction team
Interact with the Project Material Manager, Discipline Leads, and Client on a day-to-day basis to meet project procurement objectives
Effectively work with personnel within multi-functional, culturally and regionally diverse project team
Maintain the highest ethical standards of Material Management professional responsibility
Understand and maximize opportunities with internal Fluor assets and partnership solutions
Negotiate or supervise commercial negotiations with suppliers and contractors for best value including emphasizing risk mitigation and on-time delivery of material and equipment and / or rendering of services in accordance with the schedule
Align with Construction to determine site requirements and responsibilities
Monitor savings during execution while helping resolve issues related to strategies Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
Working conditions are generally indoor office workspace or site assignment based as required by the project execution strategy
May need to travel to attend to business related matters
Executes other duties as assigned
