  • Are you ready to join a leading manufacturer of large, custom-designed control valves in a hands-on leadership role? As the Logistics Manager, you will oversee the Shipping, Receiving, and Paint departments, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-paced, high-tech production environment at our Marshalltown, Iowa facility. This position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a pioneering manufacturing setting!

    In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

    • Manage the procurement of wood, cardboard, pallets, and side materials, ensuring efficient and timely sourcing.

    • Supervise the engineering and design of pallets and cartons, including load rating evaluations to meet safety and quality standards.

    • Lead all aspects of the paint department, ensuring adherence to quality, efficiency, and safety protocols.

    • Coordinate the disposal and recycling of scrap wood, optimizing waste management processes for sustainability and efficiency.

    • Manage CT-PAT Compliance and Cross Dock Agreements.

    • Provide mentorship / direction to all personnel to keep them focused on the company's objectives.

    • Provide procedures, equipment and work area which allow for a safe work environment for all employees.

    Who You Are:

    You balance planning with actions. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You define issues and can map out a process. You drill down to root causes to gather relevant information.

    For this Role, You Will Need:

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistic or a related field

    • 5 years' experience in Logistics or related experience

    • Demonstrated strong leadership skills, with the ability to encourage, mentor, and guide teams toward achieving individual and organizational goals.

    • Ability to manage priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

    • Prior manufacturing experience preferred, with a strong understanding of production processes and operational efficiency.

    • Ability to work with all level of personnel effectively.

    • Ability to retrieve and process data using Oracle.

    • Ability to maintain a fair, consistent set of standards as they apply to the entire work force.
