Loan Servicing - Support

Description We are in search of a detail oriented Loan Servicing - Support individual to join our team in the mortgage industry, based in Meriden, Connecticut. In this role, you will be tasked with handling customer credit applications, maintaining precise customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries. The position also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently handle customer credit applications

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer credit

• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and effective manner

• Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status

• Utilize strong knowledge in mortgage lending and loan servicing to perform tasks

• Apply creative thinking and problem-solving skills in daily operations

• Be responsible for understanding and adhering to local, state, and federal laws and regulations

• Communicate effectively with various internal and external stakeholders

• Identify outliers in data, research them, and obtain resolution

• Prioritize tasks and multitask effectively

• Leverage proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, to complete tasks effectively. Requirements - Demonstrated experience in loan servicing within a mortgage company setting

• Proficiency in corporate paralegal duties, with a focus on loan-related legal matters

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and financial modeling

• Strong data entry abilities, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed

• Comprehensive understanding of mortgage industry regulations and compliance standards

• Proven ability to handle sensitive customer information with discretion

• Demonstrated track record in managing multiple tasks and deadlines concurrently

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as autonomously

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
