JOB DESCRIPTION/POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :

Independently perform installation, maintenance, fabrication, modification, troubleshooting, repair, adjustment, test, operation, cable splicing, verification, etc., of power distribution equipment such as overhead power lines/cables, underground cables, switchgear, transformers, splices, potheads, etc.

REQUIRED SKILLS/SPECIAL TRAINING/CERTIFICATIONS :

CDL Driver License, Cable Splicer Cert.

EDUCATION/YEARS OF EXPERIENCE :

High School Diploma or equivalent and

• A recognized apprenticeship training program plus 2 years of experience OR

• Military or Civilian vocational training plus 2 years experience OR

• 5 Years of direct work related skills, knowledge , and experience - Journeyman's License preferred
