  • Key Responsibilities

    The Opportunity

    The Licensed Caregiver - LPN is part of the Health & Wellness Team responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents under the supervision of registered nurses and healthcare professionals.

    What You'll Do
    • Helping residents with personal hygiene, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
    • Supporting residents with medication.
    • Repositioning residents in bed and escorting them around the community
    • Toileting, incontinent care
    • Take vital signs, such as blood pressure, heart rate and pulse
    • Observe and report on residents' health, escalating any problems efficiently and effectively
    • Detail daily reports to Nurse, or designated charge person, at end of shift
    • Provide emotional support and serve as a source of comfort for residents and their loved ones
    • Recognize abnormal changes in body functioning and report to a supervisor
    • Perform nursing assessments, including vital signs monitoring, physical examinations, and health status evaluations, to identify and address resident needs promptly.
    • Provide wound care and other nursing interventions as directed by the registered nurse or healthcare provider, following applicable state regulations, established protocols and infection control practices.
    • Responsibilities include customer service, safety, resident care, and communication.
    What You'll Bring

    POSITION REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Must be at least 18 years of age.
    • Must pass State and Company criminal background/drug screens.
    • Demonstrates effective time management skills.
    • High school graduate or equivalent.
    • Must have a valid, unrestricted nursing license in the state.
    • Current CPR certification.
    • Maintain CEU requirements.
    • Read, write, speak and understand the English language.
    • Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
    • Interpret and implement written or oral policies, procedures, and instructions.
    • Staff supervision
    • Assessment and resident care skills;
    • Medication management principles and practice; and
    • Written and verbal communication skills.
