Liability Resolution Administrator I

Job Description

The Liability Resolution Administrator analyzes and manages risk management issues by identifying, measuring, and making decisions on operational or enterprise risks for the corporation.

Responsibilities

• Adjust reserves and/or provide reserve recommendations to management.

• Prepare reports for management.

• Supervise independent adjusters and defense attorneys.

• Subrogate damages incurred by company from appropriate third party.

• Minimize company's liability exposure.

• Determine applicable tort law.

• Communicate with outside vendors, attorneys, and claimants.

• Negotiate settlements.

• Evaluate, analyze, and assess the product of liability investigations.

• Investigate and process liability claims in multiple jurisdictions which can range from property damage to bodily injury.

• Other duties and projects, as assigned.

• Available for after-hours call handling.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, preferred

Experience

• 3 years experience in casualty and/or workers' compensation claims

Computer Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, required

Additional Requirements

• Must be a self-starter, capable of working with others to ensure satisfactory results, detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple claims from multiple jurisdictions, and direct the investigation of serious accidents and injuries.

Other Details

Work Hours

• Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

Compensation

• This is a salary position paid biweekly.
