Legal Assistant

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Legal Assistant with PreLitigation experience, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role primarily involves providing comprehensive legal support for a PI firm. The successful candidate will be expected to manage case files, utilize legal software, handle client complaints, and perform various administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Use Case Management Software to organize and manage case files efficiently.

• Manage and maintain a well-organized Management System.

• Use Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites to generate reports and manage data.

• Prepare legal briefings and assist in the preparation of legal documents.

• Manage office calendar and schedule appointments and meetings.

• Handle client complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.

• Prepare and manage legal documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Requirements

• Possesses at least one year of experience in a legal assistant role or similar position.

• Proficient in using Case Management Software.

• Pre-Litigation, Pre Suit experience.

• Demonstrated ability to work with Management Systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office Suites.

• E-file experience

• Experience in calendar management and scheduling.

• Demonstrated ability to handle complaints and resolve issues.

• Excellent documentation skills, with an ability to maintain detailed records.
