    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure Child Safety and Well-Being
      Maintain active supervision and ensure a safe and clean play environment.

    • Standards Compliance
      Demonstrate knowledge of Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Child Care Licensing Rules and CELC policies and procedures.

    • Curriculum and Environment
      Plan and maintain a safe, sanitary, and organized learning environment.

    • Emergency Response
      Provide First Aid or CPR in emergencies and prevent the spread of illness.

    • Child Observation and Reporting
      Observe children for signs of illness, injury, or emotional disturbances and report to the Center Director.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Education
      Minimum of a BA/BS in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field.

    • Experience
      At least two years in a teaching role.

    • Certifications
      Career Pathway Level (CPL 3) or higher preferred.

    • Familiarity
      Knowledge of ODJFS licensing rules is preferred.
