  • Overview

    Stryten Energy manufactures proprietary and custom injection molding products serving the industrial lead battery, automotive and consumer markets. Stryten Energy is expanding battery poly manufacturing and recycling output to help solve industry-wide supply constraints.

    As a Lead Set Up Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the production floor of 16 injection molding machines. You will also be required to work as a team with millwrights, quality, machine operators, and management to produce quality parts efficiently, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment for all employees.

    This is a night shift position (7pm - 7am). Training will be days for approximately 5 months, then move to nights

    Starting Pay Rate: $24.43/hour, plus $.22/hour shift differential

    Responsibilities

    • Required to start up injection molding machines

    • First article part inspections

    • Keep injection molding machines clean

    • Make any process adjustments as required

    • Mold set-ups

    • Quality walk throughs

    • Produce detailed shift reports

    • Create mold repair work orders

    • Document process changes

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • 5 years of experience processing injection molding machines

    • 5 years of experience setting up molds in injection molding machines

    • Master Molder 1, Paulson, or Routsis Certifications preferred.

    • Experience with Haitian and Milacron Injection Molding Machines is a plus

    SKILLS:

    • Must have ability to work in a fast-paced production floor, while multitasking multiple issues.

    • Knowledge of Hot Runner Control Systems, Valve Gates, Sequential Valve Gate Systems

    • Knowledge of Auxiliary Equipment (Water Units, Chillers, Negative Pressure Units, Central loading System)

    • Ability to use Quality Inspection Equipment and read part drawing blueprints (Calipers, micrometers, pin gauges)

    • Must be detail oriented, self-starter, dependable, and be able to work without constant supervision.

    • Communicate effectively with all levels of Management, Quality, and Operators to ensure quality

    • Must be safety oriented, and understand basic electricity, pneumatics and hydraulics is a plus.

    • Must have experience with computers, email, excel, word, etc.
