  • Overview:

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The incumbent in this position oversees specific operations to LIVE seating and/or Box Office.

    Responsibilities:

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make

      their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor for team members to provide superior guest service

    • Assist Box Office Supervisor in assigning staff to ensure LIVE is in the correct configuration according to Ticketmaster sales up to or including show days.

    • Delivers assignments made by Box Office Supervisor to staff to ensure proper placement on event days.

    • Responsible for logging in supplies on event days.

    • Process internal and external ticket order outside of Box office hours.

    • Assists with resolving customer service issues as necessary on event days.

    • Assists with maintaining accurate Box Office archives.

    • Communicate ticketing information accurately to internal and external contacts.

    • Assists the Box Office Supervisor with maintaining Box Office training and communication materials.

    • Ensure Box Office and LIVE equipment are in satisfactory operation.

    • Assist at Box Office with walk-up sales, call and other forms of communication.

    • Effectively explains the different configurations of Hard Rock LIVE.

    • Maintains accountability of a $500 bank drawer, while balancing the bank at end of shift, as well as assisting Box Office Representatives with balancing their banks.

    • Issues cash/comp concert tickets and VIP credentials; helping with inventory control of tickets.

    • Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned

    • Performing work regularly and predictably.

    • Assists the Box Office Supervisor with reconciliation of sales/deposits and prepares corresponding reconciliation reports.

    • Coordinates ticket printing for Casino Marketing Player Development, advertising and promotional tickets.

    • Monitors and orders supplies.

    • Assists the Box Office Supervisor with ticket sales and operation during Box Office hours.

    • Assists with coordinating with different property departments on behalf of Box Office or Hard Rock LIVE.

    • Assists with department general business administration needs.

    • Other duties as assigned by the Director – Entertainment, Hard Rock LIVE Management, VP- Marketing or Property President.

    NON-ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    • Attend seminars when needed.

    Qualifications:

    EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

    (Related education and experience may be interchangeable on a year for year basis)

    High School diploma (or equivalent) and a minimum of one (1) year of Box Office or live entertainment event experience required. Ticketmaster Host, TM1 experience strongly preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.). Must be able to create, manipulate and update Excel spreadsheets. Experience in guest relations is essential.

    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: (Licenses, Certifications, Testing, etc.):

    • Must obtain and maintain

      all licenses / certifications per Federal, State and Gaming/Lottery regulations

    • Must successfully pass background check

    • Must successfully pass drug screening

    • Must be twenty-one (21) years of age

    • Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts.

    KNOWLEDGE OF:

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    • High level interpersonal and customer service skill to ensure total guest satisfaction.

    • Multi-lingual skills preferred.

    • Strong ability to adapt to change, work effectively under pressure and produce accurate results in a fast paced environment.

    • Ability to always maintain a positive public/professional profile.

    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    ABILITY TO:

    • Ability to professional interact with individuals at all levels including management, guests and vendors.

    • Ability to complete and prioritize tasks in a timely manner.

    • Able to work independently and handle most questions without assistance.
