    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Lead Spa Massage Therapist is responsible for leading and supervising a team of massage therapists, ensuring the highest level of quality and service in all massage treatments. This position will be instrumental in enhancing the overall spa experience and promoting a sense of well-being among our clients.

    ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform a wide range of massage therapies, body treatments, and wellness services, tailored to the individual needs of each client

    • Supervise and lead a team of massage therapists

    • Train new therapists in spa protocols and techniques

    • Build strong rapport with clients and recommend treatments

    • Collaborate with spa management to develop treatment protocols, maintain quality standards, and ensure a consistent guest experience

    • Collaborate closely with spa management to identify and introduce new and innovative treatment offerings that align with current market trends and client preferences

    • Stay informed about emerging massage therapy techniques, products, and equipment to enhance the spa's service menu

    • Monitor and manage the cleanliness, organization, and ambiance of treatment rooms and spa facilities to uphold a serene and relaxing environment

    • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and a commitment to exceptional customer service

    • Ensure treatment rooms and related areas are clean and well stocked. Inform management team when additional supplies are needed

    • Perform any other duties as requested by management

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Previous luxury spa experience preferred.

    • High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience (one year minimum) in a hotel or a related field preferred.

    • Proven leadership and supervisory skills

    • Must hold and maintain a State licensed massage therapist license and required insurance.

    • Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.

    • Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.

    • Must work well in stressful high-pressure situations.

    • Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
