    WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LEAD MANAGER QUALITY COMPLIANCE

    SENIORITY LEVEL: Junior Level

    FUNCTION : Operations - Quality Management

    LOCATION: Winston Salem, NC

    ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

    Reports to Director TPMP Compliance

    Number of Direct Reports NA

    Core Relationships Internal - Various stakeholders across BAT (manufacturing, training, product development, quality, supply chain, etc.)

    External - Contract organizations, vendors,

    Geographic Scope Regional

    Travel Required 25%

    WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

    • Define strategy and logistics for FDA inspections and readiness

    • Perform mock inspections and ensure training for inspections is developed and delivered

    • Support/host regulatory inspections and external audits

    • Perform managerial, administrative and Subject Matter Expert (SME) roles during regulatory inspections

    • Actively ensure the organization is prepared in the event of an FDA Inspection and keep Master Contact List updated for sites

    • Ensure OpCo's availability of current Product Listing

    • Ensure compliance to TPMPs (Tobacco Product Manufacturing Processes) through internal audit

    • Manage oversight and audit of regulatory processes such as Document Management, Change Control, Consumer Complaints, CAPA and Non-Conformance

    ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

    • Strong Quality and/or Regulatory background or related field, including knowledge of tobacco manufacturing processes, food, pharma, med device GMP

    • Experience with manufacturing reporting systems and databases, SmartSolve eQMS or equivalent, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Professional Suite

    • BS degree or Associate degree with relevant 2 to 5 years experience equivalent.

    • Strong aptitude for information systems or similar critical thinking with high attention to detail

    • Ability to troubleshoot problems via testing and data analysis

    • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal oversight

    • Prioritize and multi-task to meet all reporting deadlines

    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels across the company and with contract customers

    BENEFICIAL

    • Willingness to acquire and maintain appropriate quality and/or regulatory certifications for role (CQE, CQA, Six Sigma, HACCP auditor, etc.).

    • Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
