  • Minimum qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

    • 10 years of experience in product management or related technical role.

    • 5 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.

    • 5 years of experience in people management, with technical leadership.

    • Experience developing consumer hardware or software security products.

    Preferred qualifications

    • Experience with the Android security model, cryptography, secure software design principles, memory safety, virtualization technologies, trusted execution environments, biometric security evaluation methodologies, and security certification schemes.

    • Experience with device software, operating systems, silicon, and other foundational blocks of the stack.

    • Experience inventing innovative and user-friendly products.

    • Experience shipping embedded security products.

    • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.

    • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

    The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google's artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$305,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     • Define the multi-year security roadmap, set clear priorities, and establish security requirements.

    • Collaborate with Silicon, Hardware, and Android teams to drive Pixel-specific security features and optimizations.

    • Guide teams to design, develop, and land user experiences with security and ensure that all of Pixel's user experiences are implemented securely.

    • Articulate Pixel's security narrative and user-facing commitments, c ontribute to Google's top level security story, align Pixel to tell a cohesive product story, and engage the marketing, PR, and policy teams to coordinate external communications.
