  • Overview

    This role will be responsible for developing and implementing distribution and fulfillment solutions that optimize efficiency, improve service levels, and drive cost savings for our clients. This role will require expertise in warehouse operations, 3PL operations, logistics, and supply chain to deliver tailored solutions that meet our clients' unique requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distribution/fulfillment industrial and process engineering, data analysis, and supply chain optimization within the 3PL industry.

    Ideal candidates for this position will be located in one of the following states:

    • Florida

    • Georgia

    • North Carolina

    • South Carolina

    • Texas

    • Illinois

    *Remote: While this position does not currently require relocation, candidates within a radius of Boca Raton Headquarters will be required to work in the office a minimum of three days a week.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Network Optimization and detailed Solutioning:

    • Conduct network optimization studies to identify opportunities for consolidation, mode optimization, and warehouse location selection.

    • Design dock-to-dock receive, put-away, pick, pack and ship strategies to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

    • Utilize data modeling skills to simulate and evaluate fulfillment and transportation scenarios and recommend improvements.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

    • Establish and maintain engineering performance metrics, track progress, and report on key metrics.

    • Distribution/Fulfillment Solutions Development:

    • Analyze client needs and requirements to develop innovative and efficient solutions.

    • Collaborate with clients to understand their supply chain challenges and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

    • Utilize data analysis and modeling techniques to design distribution/fulfillment network solution that drive cost savings and improve service levels.

    • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in distribution/fulfillment solutions and engineering.

    • Client Relationship Management:

    • Collaborate with clients to understand their unique distribution/fulfillment requirements and develop tailored solutions.

    • Conduct regular meetings and periodic business reviews to assess performance, address concerns, and identify improvement opportunities.

    • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic guidance on distribution/fulfillment solutions and engineering processes.

    • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities with existing clients by identifying additional value-added services.

    • Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

    • Proactively identify areas for improvement and propose strategies to enhance operations and engineering processes.

    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across the organization.

    • Stay informed about advancements in warehousing technologies, automation, and industry best practices.

    Education and Experience:

    • Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

    • Area of Study: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

    • Minimum Years of Experience: 7 years

    • Type of Experience: Warehouse operations, Industrial engineering, network design and optimization, OMS/WMS superuser experience, cost analysis, data warehousing and analysis

    • Technical Competencies & Information Systems: Basic computer skills and the ability to use computers and technology for information, and to access information necessary to complete the job.
