Additionally, you'll supervise a Financial Analyst and lead efforts to enhance financial modeling and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Financial Analyst, Job duties include:

• Lead the coordination of company reports, including weekly and monthly financial results, and prepare presentations for the Senior Leadership team.

• Investigate and explain operational and financial variances to budget, offering insights that inform strategic decisions.

• Provide detailed analysis of revenue, expenses, financial modeling, rate and volume analysis, and profitability impact analysis.

• Develop and maintain financial budget and forecasting models to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

• Work closely with department heads to track performance against projections, support budget development, and recommend adjustments as needed.

Skills

• 8 + years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within the Defense industry.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead teams, with a proven track record of achieving results without direct supervision.

• High attention to detail with advanced analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
