    Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst to support the Finance, Legal and Audit Group within COO/Corporate Functions Finance. You will be responsible for strategic partnership with finance Leaders to interpret and advise on all financial analysis and reporting of key financial metrics related to business performance, including operating and strategic reviews.

    The successful candidate will be expected to understand the overarching strategic direction while working closely with our partners on budget, forecast, month-end close, etc. Ensuring business drivers are accurately reflected in the financial forecasts. Promote and drive objectives of the Finance organization. Identify opportunities to improve methodologies and processes and delivering financial analysis in support of management decision-making for Finance leadership. Providing the complex financial analysis in support of management decision-making for the Finance Organization. This position will also be responsible for financial relationship partnering with the Finance business line.

    In this role, you will:

    • Conduct thorough research on financial strategies and provide actionable recommendations based on findings.

    • Analyze and report on the financial impact of proposed strategic initiatives.

    • Synthesize accurate information from financial data and summarize critical points in a clear, presentation-ready format.

    • Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve complex financial issues.

    • Develop and evaluate solutions across a wide range of financial challenges.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated experience in forecasting, accounting, analytics within banking/financial services industry.

    • Prior experience consulting, influencing, and partnering with business executives

    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

    • Proficiency in reporting databases, Microsoft Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau), and Essbase.

    • Strong presentation skills

    • Operate effectively in a complex, matrixed environment.

    • Assess stakeholder needs and build effective relationships.

    Job Expectations:
