    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled Lead Assembly Technician to join our team. A successful candidate will be responsible for assembling/installing aviation industry

    components, including nutplates, mechanical fasteners, bushing installations, and countersinking. The role requires proficiency with hand and power tools,

    riveting guns, and blueprints. The Lead Assembly Technician will lead a team of 5 assemblers, ensuring production schedules are met and quality standards are maintained.

    Job Duties:

    • Assemble Aviation Components: Utilize various tools and blueprints to assemble aviation components.

    • Hands-On Assembly: Perform hands-on assembly tasks, including working with sub-assemblies.

    • Leadership Responsibilities: Oversee assembly duties and lead a team of 5 assemblers to ensure timely and quality production.

    • Problem Solving: Adapt and overcome challenges as they arise.

    • Communication and Training: Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to teach and develop coworkers.

    • Inventory Management: Conduct inventory checks on assembled parts and maintain inventory for bulk orders.

    • Process Improvement: Implement process improvement strategies to maximize efficiency.

    • Management Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with management.

    • Specialized Installations: Perform wet installs and cold fits.

    • Fastener Operations: Work with Hi-lok and Cleco fasteners, and conduct blind and squeeze riveting operations.

    • Countersinking and Drilling: Perform countersinking and utilize drill presses.

    • Quality Assurance: Ensure all assemblies are sealed to company standards.

    • Documentation: Document inventory, defects, and other necessary information

    Shift and Pay:

    • 1st Shift: 6:00AM-4:00PM

    • Monday-Thursday (Friday OT as needed-usually 6AM-12PM)

    • $21-$28/hr (Depending on experience)

    • (Must be okay working OT when required)

    Position Requirements:

    • Assembly lead experience (3+ years)

    • Basic hand/power tools experience

    • Blueprint/schematics experience

    • Counter sinking and riveting experience

    • Bushing installation experience

    • Mechanical aptitude

    • Mechanical aviation assembly experience

    • MUST HAVE STEEL TOES

    Performance Expectations:

    • Fast-paced, proactive, and able to learn quickly.

    • Ability to maintain high quality with expediated assemblies

    • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $58240.00

    80 hours PTO upon hire.

    10 paid holidays

    Pay every 2 weeks (26 times per year)

    401k benefits: The company matches 50% on the

    employee's contributions up to 4.0% of pay
