    ABOUT THE ROLE

    The purpose of this position is to maintain the condition and appearance of assigned properties.

    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    • Daily checks for trash and debris; key areas cleaned, exterior trash cans serviced, and patio furniture sanitization and reset.

    • Perform exterior lighting cleaning and inspections for proper operation, and performing general lighting maintenance.

    • Wayfinding signage maintenance and inspections.

    • Completing inspections of Q-Free parking lot guidance systems.

    • Monitoring of parking garages and lots for trash and items returned to the proper locations (bikes, traffic cones etc.), clean up spills.

    • Transports two-yard dumpsters to compactor stations to dump debris.

    • Inspects debris and perform sorting as needed to assure waste is being recycled as much as possible, reporting issues to supervisors to address if needed.

    • Maintains compactor areas, dumpsters and ensure equipment in good working order.

    • Handles drop and pick up dumpsters as needed for building clean outs or move purges.

    • Assisting with miscellaneous needs around campus including transportation team.

    • Reports landscape damage to supervisor on a regular basis, as required .

    • Conducts daily maintenance requirements on site.

    • Assists supervisor with regular site inspections.

    • Practices safe work habits.

    • Other duties may be assigned.

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

    • Valid Driver's license is required and must maintain a good driving record.

    • Experience with operating small electronic equipment.

    • May be subject to additional pre-employment requirements of the client.

    OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

    Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.

    Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

    Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.

    Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

    In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

    Report any conditions which you feel could result in an accident or injury and / or stop work if required.
