IT@JH Client Technology Solutions (CTS) is seeking a LAN Administrator III who will be responsible for all desktop/mobile devices for the Johns Hopkins Public Safety (JHPS) and Johns Hopkins Police Department (JHPD) on the East Baltimore and Homewood Campus locations.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Provides direct support to JHPS and JHPD clients for desktop, application and peripheral support. This position will also support end user technology in JHPS communications centers.
Supports JHHS/JHU clients with specialized JHPS software such as video management and computer-based panic alarms.
Operational work prioritized by IT management provided by JHPS IT leadership but will organizationally report into IT@JH CTS organization. Once properly trained and acclimated to the environment, the individual in this position will be expected to perform at a high level of technical caliber and be able to resolve/troubleshoot/maintain the overall health and compliance of the end point fleet.
Specific Devices, Software, Projects
Responsible for end point support for applications that exist in JHPS as well as applications used institutionally.
Supports a number of different client-side devices including Dell laptops/desktops, Apple MAC/OSX, mobile device platforms using iOS and potentially Android along with other peripherals specific to JHPS. Applications specific to Public Safety including CCURE 9000, victor video management, Lynx panic alarms, visitor management, app tracker, ARMS, AXON, and other Public safety software.

Minimum Qualifications
Two years college coursework.
Five years related experience.
Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

Starting Salary Range: $62,300 - $109,000 Annually (Commensurate with experience)
