  • Job Title: Laboratory Technician

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Laboratory Technician where you will support Sr. Chemists in the research laboratory. Your responsibilities will include measuring pH, color using UV-Vis, and water activity. You will also set up stability tests, prepare samples, and place them in temperature chambers. You will dilute samples and portion out samples for sensory testing. Additionally, you will prepare samples for microbiological submissions, clean glassware, load samples to HPLC, perform quantitative analysis, and perform absorption, carbon, and resin filtration. This role is crucial in supporting several projects involving new product development and modifying procedures the company.

    Hard Skills

    • Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field

    • Previous laboratory experience from undergraduate coursework and basic understanding of glassware and laboratory safety.

    • Experience with UV-vis Spectroscopy and HPLC sample prep is a plus

    • Ideal candidate will be looking to go back to school in the next 1-2 years.

    Work Environment

    Will be supporting the company's Product Development Lab. First shift opportunity with flexible start times around 8am.
