Lab Technician

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Lab Technician in the education industry at a university located in Baltimore, Maryland. As a Lab Technician, your primary role will involve assisting students with their projects, ensuring the lab is running smoothly, and maintaining a strong understanding of various technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with their projects, with a focus on software packages for phishing

• Maintain an active presence in the lab to provide immediate assistance when needed

• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Cisco Technologies, Citrix Technologies, Cloud Technologies, iOS Apps, and Linux Technologies

• Help students understand and apply concepts of Security+

• Maintain a proactive approach to learning and staying updated in the field

• Utilize networking skills to enhance lab operations and student understanding

• Ensure the lab is properly equipped with necessary computer hardware and backup technologies

• Handle and troubleshoot issues related to Apple Devices

• Use AB Testing approaches to evaluate the effectiveness of various teaching methods and technologies

• Manage and update the Active Directory as required. Requirements - Possess technical proficiency in Cisco Technologies.

• Demonstrable experience with Citrix Technologies.

• Strong understanding and application of Cloud Technologies.

• Proficiency in creating and managing iOS Apps.

• Solid experience with Linux Technologies.

• Ability to conduct AB Testing effectively.

• Experience in managing and troubleshooting Active Directory.

• Proficiency in using and maintaining Apple Devices.

• Knowledge of Backup Technologies, with the ability to implement them in a lab setting.

• Strong understanding of Computer Hardware, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair as necessary. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
