Lab Inventory Specialist

Job Title: Inventory Control SpecialistJob Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to manage our inventory operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing inventory, including ordering, supplying, organizing, and maintaining records. This role requires familiarity with a laboratory setting and adherence to all laboratory procedures and policies. Your responsibilities will include creating, updating, and maintaining multiple inventories and ensuring the laboratory does not run out of supplies. You will also be required to unpack and store new inventory, rotate inventory supply as necessary, maintain records and logs, and identify problems that may adversely affect inventory. Additional duties include aiding in the production, aliquoting, and labeling of controls/materials used in the laboratory, taking temperature and humidity measurements in laboratories, and communicating effectively with other team members and management. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Rockville, Maryland.

Work Environment

This role requires the incumbent to work in a Lab Environment 60% of the time, with the remaining 40% at their desk.
