    Responsibilities:

    • Performs blood collection and specimen processing.

    • Assist with clerical duties as requested.

    • May perform waived or mod complex testing, if appropriate for the department organization.

    • Provide instruction for collection of non-blood samples. i.e. stool, urine, FIT, etc.

    • Works primarily in the lab specimen processing/intake department of the lab.

    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma/GED

    Preferred

    Phlebotomy program certificate

    Lab Assistant Program certification
