    Description:

    The Kitchen Manager & Buyer is responsible for the exceptional execution of Customer Service by the entire Prepared Foods Department. They are responsible for overseeing department inventory, margin, labor budgets, pricing integrity, merchandising standards, food preparation, health & safety compliance. They will ensure all Prepared Foods Team Members receive proper training and supervision. The manager will ensure the highest level of execution in regards to ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, rotation, merchandising and preparation of food.

    What you will bring:

    Experience in a Leadership Position, providing and modeling Exceptional Customer Service, setting clear, achievable expectations for your Team, giving feedback and following through on the needs of the Team.

    Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously as a detail-oriented and efficient person.

    Experience with Perishable Inventory Management, that includes proper rotation and labeling, food safety and sanitation.

    Kitchen experience preferred

    ServSafe Managerial certification preferred.

    Flexible and able to switch tasks quickly.

    Calm in stressful situations and able to provide a strong and cohesive department.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Proficient in Microsoft Suite.

    What you will do:

    Oversee Daily Operations, including supervision and delegation of tasks within the Production Team, FOH Team and supporting roles within the department.

    Manage Ordering and Inventory of all product for the Department, and maintaining comprehensive reporting of Purchasing and Spoilage.

    Lead communication with Catering Customers and ensure proper execution of the Catering program.

    Work a variety of shifts to meet the needs of the position and the Team.

    Assist Store Operations with interviewing, hiring and all Team Member Training and Development.

    Give feedback that is actionable and allows Team Members to improve and develop.

    Handle Customer and Team Member complaints or issues in a professional, courteous, and thoughtful way.

    Write an effective labor schedule

    Work with Store Operations on any performance issues, progressive discipline and performance reviews.


    Compensation details: 20-25 Yearly Salary
