Junior Project Manager

Description

A.O. Smith Corporation is looking for a Junior PM to report into their PMO. They will also have involvement in the AMO (acquisition management office) supporting M&A related projects.

Ideally looking for someone with 3 years of experience as a PM. Basic PM fundamentals, standard waterfall practices (most projects are waterfall based). AOS claims they are Agile but not there yet. Looking for someone hungry / proactive / confident enough reach out to stakeholders & take initiative.

• 130 projects in "requested status"

• Initial assignments will vary based on person

• All IT related

• Working through something as simple as deploying latest SAP upgrade (do not need to be SAP background ) but SDLC, to a small construction project and deploying wireless access points within area, to deploying new software solutions across project lifecycle management team.

• From AMO side: 2 projects wants to hand over. Small deployments. HR related solutions. Deploying something like employee central software solution to track and manage training / professional development skills

• M365 has been a big proponent. Microsoft enterprise solutions is going to be big plus. Doing a lot with active directory.

Final stages of deploying global AD solutions (familiar with different integrations), someone who knows how to deploy integrations.

All projects are different. Not monotonous at all. Great exposure.
