Penn Medicine is seeking a full-time, day-shift Junior Physicist within the Department of Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP).
Manage the ACR accreditation process for all accredited modalities at HUP and PPMC
Conduct monthly quality assurance on the radiologist workstation monitors at HUP, PPMC and PAH
Conduct quarterly quality assurance on all radiographic systems at HUP, PPMC and PAH
Assist with other QA/QC tasks.
Assist with patient dose monitoring.
Assist with assessment of image quality and trouble-shooting image artifacts.
Assist with research in imaging physics.
Clinical awareness, professionalism and communication
Bachelor of Arts or Science with Education Specialization in Physics, Health Physics, Diagnostic Imaging or equivalent
OR > 5 years' experience as an American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certified technologist in an advanced modality.
