HIRING MACHINIST

Primarily a Manual Machinist with Occasional CNC Machining

DESCRIPTION:

The Machinist will be working alongside the team with a primary focus on machining tasks: drilling, counter-boring, counter-sinking, and material preparation.

Work is split between CNC and Manual work. The Machinist will be working on shafts, bearing boards, wear plates/products and parts for mining equipment on a consistent basis. They will be using a Weiler E-Series Lathe with Siemens controller, and a TOS Kurim horizontal boring mill with Heidenhain control. For drafting and cam software, they will use GibbsCam.

Additionally, the qualified candidate will be doing assembly and disassembly of a simple gearboxes when there is a lack of machining work. They will be given drawings, will be able to deconstruct with hand tools.

SCHEDULE:

7:00 AM-3:30 PM, Monday-Friday, OT after 40 hours in a week, OT opportunity is available

• Have over a year worth of work, opportunity for a full time role

• New machinery coming into the facility

• Niche name in the local marketplace, good opportunity for varied experience

• currently looking to identify key pieces for a 2024 expansion
