    The Role

    The Jewelry Designer is responsible for developing new concepts and ideas that will enhance the brand’s jewelry line. The role will work closely with our merchandising team and contribute from the concept to development process.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develops and executes product designs from conception to prototype that achieve overall product strategy and merchandise objectives.
    • Sketches design ideas/concepts to convey ideas to the merchandising team.
    • Partners with the design team to elaborate and expand design concepts and coordinate seasonal concepts, materials, and hardware.
    • Researches seasonal trends and develop new design concepts based on the trends to enhance the brand’s image in the market.
    • Ensures designs meet merchant line plans, assortment strategies and overall creative direction.
    • Prepares and finalizes technical drawings of proposed product to be used for product development process and ensure specs are sent to factories.
    • Creates product presentations including boards, tear sheets, and samples and present new product assortment during line previews with internal partners.
    • Researches and recommends trends and color stories for each season and category.
    • Adheres to design calendar and deadlines.
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor degree and 3 years experience working in jewelry design
    • Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator and 3D Software
    • Excellent communication & presentation skills
    • Acute attention to detail
    • Adaptable and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential
    • Practical problem- solver, highly organized and self-motivated
    • Great people skills
