    What you will do

    Working in a team environment, this position will provide front-line support for core business systems for both internal and external customers. These applications include internally and externally developed solutions. The Application Support Analyst will be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to roll up their sleeves and research issues to identify root cause. This role provides an opportunity to grow and expand your skills with varying assignments including small projects as well as providing multiple career path options. The position is located in Greensboro, NC and reports to the Solutions Manager, D&IT, Region North America.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide first level support for internal and external customers on business applications

    Understand the application, it's integrations, and business processes supported

    Point of contact for issue resolution regardless of which team owns delivering solution

    Perform daily tasks following an established process for tracking support calls and resolutions

    Defect tracking for business systems

    Implementation of break/fix situations for business systems

    Manage small scale project requests as needed

    Complete system configuration, user administration, and potentially business rule development

    Vendor management - maintain direct line of contact with vendor support teams to ensure premium support

    High level understanding of core business systems

    EDUCATION:

    - University Degree - Associate or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field

    EXPERIENCE:

    - 2 or more years of experience in application support/help desk environment

    - Experience with File Transfers

    - Experience with Active Directory environment

    - Proven skills in trouble-shooting business applications

    - Sharepoint administration experience

    - Experience in the Financial Services industry a plus

    - Experience with SQL queries a plus

    - Linux experience a plus

    SKILLS:

    - Customer Service and Quality focused with emphasis on timely problem resolution.

    - Ability to adapt working with multiple technologies and different development environments

    - Strong verbal and written communication skills (English)

    - Spanish speaking is a plus

    - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail

    - Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate system solutions to individuals with varying computer literacy

    - Ability to create user friendly technical documentation

    - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast paced, demanding environment

    - Ability to work in the support of a team environment and autonomously as needed
