    Job Description

    Cintas is currently looking for an IT Vendor Analyst for the Financial Services Team within IT. This position is responsible for assisting with the management and facilitation of IT contracts from cradle to grave. The IT Vendor Analyst I performs activities related to: strategic sourcing, contracting, contract management, vendor management, internal relationships, reporting, and process development and improvement. The position also develops subject matter expertise for IT contracts and related activities. The IT Vendor Analyst I coordinates the timely execution of assigned processes and tasks, while ensuring contract, policy, and procedural obligations are met.

    Responsibilities

    • Assists with the vendor selection process through RFI's, RFP's, and other competitive proposal tools. Communicates status updates and maintains relevant documentation while exhibiting integrity, honesty, and fairness.

    • Contributes to the contracting process for Statements of Work (SOWs) and Agreements (Master Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Amendments, ...) by executing assigned tasks with guidance.

    • Manages assigned established contracts and follow-on activities with readily available guidance from senior Vendor Analysts. Follows established contract processes, mitigates possible delays, keeps contracts current, and communicates status updates to stakeholders and management weekly or as needed.

    • Manages relationships with assigned vendors with guidance from senior Vendor Analysts. Assists with the maintenance of the master vendor file. Assists in planning major software and hardware upgrades.

    • Develops relationships with IT managers and business units. Works with IT partners to help translate functional requests into contract specifications.

    • Assists with the management of a contract register containing a database of all executed contracts. Collects appropriate reporting requirements and may develop vendor scorecards and dashboards for presenting results.

    • Develops subject matter expert around IT contracts and related activities. Develops a best practice knowledge base of negotiating strategies. Understands IT category market trends by gathering, tracking, and analyzing market and industry data.

    • Implements improvements to processes, procedures, workflow, and organizational structures for contract management. Executes a contract auditing process.

    Skills/Qualifications

    Required

    • High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree, preferred

    • Minimum 1 year of IT Sourcing, Purchasing, Auditing and Compliance experience

    Preferred

    • Experience with hardware and software contracts

    • Experience with managed services contracts

    • Experience with voice and data contracts (including cellular)

    • Experience with Microsoft software suite

    • Financial and budget management experience
