The IT Security Architect is responsible for design and oversight of technologies protecting the firm's electronic assets. This position will work in collaboration with all IT departments providing a secure environment to enable the business in support of the firm's vision. The ideal candidate will remain current with new technologies and trends including Cloud environments, Azure/M365 and Entra-ID identity management (B2B, PIM, entitlement management).

Responsibilities:
Obtain and manage a comprehensive picture of the company's entire technology footprint while identifying and evaluating vulnerabilities and/or weaknesses that could pose risk to the firm
Participate in design of dynamically scalable, available, fault-tolerant, and reliable application infrastructure on premise and in the Cloud while allowing the business to remain nimble in a competitive industry
Design and develop security controls that align with the ISO/IEC 2700x standards
Provide security and IT personnel with technical guidance and supervision
Design, implement, and maintain centralized SIEM platform while assessing threat analytics/metrics and investigating anomalies
Audit the effective coverage of established security controls across all technology platforms
Update and upgrade the firm's security systems as required
Advise and assist in implementation of process workflows from a security auditor perspective
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required, emphasis in Computer Science or related field preferred
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a complex organization required, including demonstrated involvement with building and leading high-performing teams and fostering an inclusive culture; experience in a professional services environment preferred
Strong background in secured Cloud environments, Azure/M365 experience preferred
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to use interpersonal and negotiation skills to influence others
Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to articulate complex issues to others
Ability to collaborate and work effectively across functions/departments/teams while building trusted relationships and positively influencing others
Strong organizational skills; able to effectively prioritize assignments and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to travel as needed, approximately 5%
