    CACI is seeking an IT Project Manager to join our team in Arlington, VA. The IT Project Manager will oversee a Microsoft Dynamics project including development and O&M support. Successful candidates will direct a matrixed technical and functional team including subject matter experts (SMEs), technical personnel, and other appropriate expertise as needed to develop, design, document, implement and manage enhancement solutions, automation and O&M.

    The IT Project Manager will ensure compliance with the SDLC process through all phases of the life cycle (planning, requirements definition, design, development, integration, test, deployment, operations & maintenance) as well as deliver the appropriate SDLC artifacts as defined by the level of the project.

    About the role:

    Serve as an IT Project Manager responsible for Dynamics enhancements and maintenance. Responsibilities include:

    • All areas of Project Management from initiation through closeout, ensuring the successful execution of the project in support of government customer's mission, goals and objectives.

    • Responsible for the management, scheduling, and coordination of projects activities, and staff assignments to support O&M and project activities.

    • Provide leadership to a cross-functional team, managing team resource assignments, projected task completion dates, prioritizing activities based on customer requirements and SLAs.

    • Document and track the project lifecycle in JIRA.

    • Oversees individual IT projects and tasks from identification of requirements, analysis and design, development, end-user testing, deployment, and production support.

    • Document and manage all issues and risks, developing and maintaining a risk register and mitigation plan.

    • Facilitate all necessary meetings, to include requirements gathering, kick-off, technical exchange meetings, design review, status meeting, closeout meetings and all ad-hoc and post-mortem meetings necessary.

    • Manage the transition of projects from engineering to O&M.

    • Provide appropriate reporting and drive towards on time delivery by working directly with stakeholders.

    • Provide recommendations for process development and improvement.

    • Contribute to documentation in the Knowledge Base, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), work instructions, and job aids.

    • Track and manage initiatives, deliverables, customer relations, and project management/operational reviews.

    • Develop and produce documentation, reports, and presentation slide decks.

    • Prepare and present briefing materials to staff, executives, and federal customers. Interactions involve client meetings and interfacing with senior management.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Entry On Duty (EOD) - Active EOD preferred

    • B.A./B.S. + 10 years of relevant experience, or MA/MS +7 years experience or AA/AS +12 or 16 years of experience.

    • Experience using Kanban boards

    • Experience with Microsoft Project, JIRA, and Confluence

    • Strong communication skills (verbal and written)

    • Strong Microsoft Office experience, predominantly Excel, Visio and PowerPoint

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous DHS experience

    $85,800 - $180,200
