Overview:
Our IT team designs, develops, and integrates technology solutions to streamline operations, drive innovation, and enhance business results. The IT Product Manager plays a critical role by facilitating the development, analysis, and optimization of quality IT solutions and data management processes. This position serves as a vital link between business and technology teams, guiding the development of IT solutions from initial planning through launch and ongoing post-production, with a focus on Product Information and Catalog Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy and Roadmap Development: Develop and manage product strategy roadmaps for Product Information and Catalog systems, outlining objectives, success metrics, and key initiatives. Ensure alignment with Worldpac’s overall business goals, market trends, and data-driven insights. Lead steering and strategic planning efforts, define the product vision, and establish direction.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and developers to gather, analyze, and prioritize user requirements. Translate business and user needs into actionable product specifications, emphasizing data-driven decision-making to enhance value delivery. Discover what users/customers need and articulate how features will provide value to the business/users (Define What and Why).
- Product Development and Delivery: Partner with technical owners throughout the development lifecycle to deliver features and enhancements on schedule and with high quality. Participate in quality assurance and quality engineering (QA/QE) efforts to ensure robust testing. Continuously monitor progress, leverage data analytics to identify improvement areas, and take corrective action to meet milestones.
- Data Management and Governance: Establish and use effective data governance processes to ensure accurate, up-to-date product and catalog information, as well as efficient data exchanges with internal and external systems. Stay informed on automotive industry data standards and leverage data-driven approaches to enhance product performance.
- Performance and User Experience (UX) Optimization: Gather and analyze UX feedback to enhance user experience, system efficiency, and data accuracy. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate system performance, using data analytics to drive continuous improvements.
- Stakeholder Communication and Alignment: Communicate product updates, progress, and challenges clearly and effectively to stakeholders, including management, IT teams, and business units. Leverage data-driven insights to align expectations and drive informed decision-making.
- Collaboration with Development Teams and Backlog Management: Create and manage work items (initiatives, epics, stories) and prioritize the backlog in collaboration with technical application owners. Lead planning, review, and status ceremonies. Ensure alignment with user and business needs by analyzing data insights, collaborating closely with development teams, and aligning product features with strategic goals. Product Manager and Technical owner are to be expert on assigned products and associated users/customers and together are responsible for the business success of the product.
Qualifications:
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related fields, or equivalent work experience
- Expertise in automotive product and catalog data, with a understanding of industry-specific challenges and data integration requirements
- Proficiency in data analysis, data governance, and data-driven decision-making
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated project management experience and knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Proficient with SQL and with the ability to extract, analyze, and interpret data to drive product strategy and decision-making
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira/Confluence
Pay Range:
