    Reporting to the Vice President of Point of Care (PoC) and Handheld (HH) Ultrasound in the United States, this position is the liaison between the product and commercial teams, for all things related to IT connectivity, networking and image management. This position primarily supports the Point of Care and Handheld Ultrasound business in the United States. As the PoC and HH Ultrasound Field Connectivity Leader, you'll work closely with Commercial teams and our customers to define and implement creative solutions to complex connectivity related implementations and challenges. You will leverage your deep understanding of clinical application support, departmental & enterprise workflow implementations, as well as technical understanding of industry standards and trends.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Working closely with the assigned PoC and HH commercial teams (Sales, Applications & Service Escalation), you will serve as the technical resource for timely and satisfactory resolution of customer questions and issues as they relate to IT Connectivity, Image and Data management, as well as enterprise and departmental workflow implementation support.

    • In conjunction with Sales, establish and maintain contact with potential customers to provide on-going technical expertise addressing connectivity related issues/concerns.

    • Work closely with the product management and global engineering teams to ensure the needs of the supported market are met. This includes NPI validation testing and support when needed. You will also serve as the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Connectivity related features on new products or updates to help drive meaningful and relevant solutions which enhance our connectivity offerings.

    • Train and mentor commercial teams on new Connectivity related new products and updates.

    • Forge strong, collaborative relationships with Connectivity Leaders across other segments. Offer mutual support, share industry trends, and exchange best practices on features and challenges to build a more unified and impactful Connectivity Leader group.

    • Connectivity Validation support for covered systems at the request of customers, or 3rd party vendors. This includes DICOM study/imaging validations as well as DICOM Structured Reporting validations and custom mapping support.

    • Serve as security resource for post security inquiry follow up questions/support

    • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.

    • This position requires a willingness to tackle programs and projects that may exist as a need in the business but not belong to a clear owner. The orientation needs to be aimed at team success for the business.

    • Should be comfortable participating with the sales team at customer functions, delivering presentations, addressing customer inquiries at all levels, from IT department to C-Suite.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of demonstrated experience with the following:

    • Knowledge of how Ultrasound systems and associated imaging workflow systems function within an enterprise healthcare environment

    • Technical knowledge of systems such as (but not limited to) EMRs, PACS, Modality Worklist servers and other DICOM infrastructure, identity management, wireless networks, mobile devices, and cloud-based infrastructure.

    • In-depth, working knowledge of modern networking and DICOM, as well as understanding of HL/7 and IHE standards.

    • Excellent knowledge of current privacy and security standards and best practices among healthcare institutions

    • Knowledge of connectivity best practices and practical know-how of enterprise IT systems; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

    • Able to apply judgment and creativity, in addition to technical expertise and analytical thinking to address more complicated customer or engineering needs. Leveraging multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at solutions.

    • Demonstrated ability to interact, present and influence throughout a health system's information technology organization, from senior level leaders to departmental IT and cybersecurity specialists

    • Experience with modern programming languages/methodologies like HTLM, Python, Java, or C++ Ability to travel at least 30% of the time (+located within 90 minutes of a well-served airport)
