IT Auditor

Description

We are excited to offer a contract-to-hire employment opportunity for an IT Auditor in the Savannah, GA and Bluffton, SC area. This role plays a critical part in ensuring IT compliance and operational audits. As a key contributor, the Sr. IT Auditor will shape the future of our audit frameworks and departmental practices. Collaboration with staff members and third-party resources is essential, providing guidance, oversight, and management during audits and reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop the annual risk-based IT audit plan and lead internal IT audit engagements.

• Supervise the daily activities and work of staff auditors assigned to audit engagements.

• Coordinate with independent registered public accountants on SOX and other audit-related activities.

• Review work papers, draft audit reports, and related documentation following department standards.

• Cultivate productive relationships with staff, stakeholders, customers, and third-party associates.

• Teach, train, and coach staff-level associates in project management tools like Audit Board and Ops Audit.

• Assist in preparing the annual risk assessment and audit plan.

• Conduct comprehensive planning and risk assessments for each assignment to identify potential business risks.

• Assess and communicate audit results, translating findings into risk levels and driving timely issue remediation.

• Uphold the highest ethical standards and adhere to fundamental principles.

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification
