    The Role

    We are currently hiring for an Inventory Specialist to join our

    US Warehouse Operations team. The individual in this role will work out of our US warehouse location and will be responsible for the management and coordination of processes and procedures within the US warehouse that impact inventory. This individual will also play a key role in establishing and supporting processes to keep inventory accurate, including resolving discrepancies in inventory, order fulfillment and routine inventory counts.

    This individual will bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to the Warehouse Operations group, as well as having proven experience in ERP/software systems. The Inventory Specialist will have the ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment while managing deadlines and working with a team of talented professionals. This individual will possess a “roll up your sleeves” attitude that’s willing to dive into the details and make an immediate contribution to the Company.

    Responsibilities:

    What We Expect

    • Respond to inventory queries and conduct ad-hoc inventory counts on specific items when requested by Supply Chain and/or Client Support.

    • Provide oversight and direction in resolving order fulfilment issues.

    • Communicate to the appropriate departments on missing items and what resolution has been reached; escalate as necessary to the Supply Chain team.

    • Develop metrics and reporting to identify areas of opportunity or trends in order fulfilment issues.

    • Manage monthly physical inventory counts and routine cycle counting, assisting with resolutions and providing KPI’s, in conjunction with the Supply Chain team

    • Ensure inventory discrepancies related to factory shipping errors are identified, escalated and communicated to the Supply Chain team.

    • Ensure inventory discrepancies related to warehouse shipping errors are resolved and communicated to the Supply Chain team and/or Client Support when applicable.

    • Participate in and lead when applicable, other various projects to support the growth and development of the business and warehouse operations, including various sales initiatives that utilize inventory.

    • Document and communicate process changes throughout the warehouse that impact inventory accuracy and inventory management.

    • Provide additional support during periods of heavy shipments to process inbound and outbound shipments.

    • Manage the physical return of goods back to the US warehouse and liaise with the appropriate department(s) to resolve the returns situation and associated case.

    Qualifications:

    What We Are Looking For

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or other field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

    • Minimum 2 years of progressively responsible professional inventory experience required; prefer experience related to process implementation, warehousing and inventory controls.

    • Demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, solve problems and support organizational change.

    • High level of analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Strong ERP and relational database skills and understanding; ability to extract and summarize large amounts of data into a user-friendly format.

    • Exceptional Excel skills and the working knowledge of the full suite of Microsoft products.

    • Exceptional attention to detail.

    • Procedure & process oriented with the ability to clearly document processes.

    • Ability to thrive in a challenging, dynamic environment where multi-tasking and adaptability are a requirement.

    • Ability to function as part of a global team but able to work autonomously when required.

    • Ability to lift 25-50 pounds on a regular basis along with the ability to work on your feet for most of the day. during a 40+ hour work week.

    • Have the flexibility to work overtime as needed.
